Future of Pediatric 2017 app for iPhone and iPad

Welcome to the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics “The Future of Pediatric Practice 2017!” This year’s conference will be bigger and better than ever – offering more continuing education sessions and hands-on workshops for practitioners, an expanded resident forum, an increasingly popular medical student research forum, and more opportunities for interaction with colleagues and partner representatives!
 
The FCAAP Pediatric Residency Forum will begin on Friday afternoon and educational sessions for practitioners will begin early Friday evening, including a keynote address from American Academy of Pediatrics President-Elect Dr. Colleen Kraft. Immediately before the Family Fun Reception, some of the brightest pediatric residents in the state will present new research and projects in pediatrics by poster. Friday will culminate with the family fun reception, featuring food, music, dancing, activities, photo opportunities with Disney characters, and a silent auction! The evening will end with Disney’s Magic Kingdom’s spectacular firework display.
 
The fun and education continues with a full day Saturday and a half day Sunday! Some of the top medical students from around the country will gather to share their research and learn about the practice of pediatrics. Florida Hospital – Orlando will defend its title as the Statewide Brain Bowl Champion against the eight other pediatric residency programs in the state. Pediatricians, allied health practitioners, and practice administrators will benefit from the plenary sessions and hands-on workshops with subject-area pediatric experts from around the country.
 
In addition to discounted room rates at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, attendees may also purchase discounted Disney theme park tickets to enjoy the parks throughout the weekend! The conference will conclude at 12:30pm Sunday afternoon, allowing plenty of time for attendees and their families to enjoy the Resorts amenities and Disney restaurants, shopping, and theme parks!
